Some events are memorable for the scale. Others are memorable for the smiles. On 31 January 2026, we had the pleasure of participating as an event partner at The Family First Carnival, organized by the parents of students at GEMS American Academy, and it was truly a day to remember.

We were invited to design and manage a special children’s activity for the carnival, and our team was excited to bring something interactive and different to the event. The result? A large, custom-built interactive maze that quickly became one of the most popular attractions of the day.

From the moment the carnival opened, children lined up eagerly to step inside the maze. With twists, turns, and playful pathways, it offered just the right balance of fun and challenge. What made it even more special was that there were no age limits; young children and older kids enthusiastically joined in the experience. The laughter, teamwork, and friendly competition made the activity a lively highlight throughout the event.

Designing and building the maze required careful planning, creativity, and on-ground coordination. Our team ensured it was safe, engaging, and easy to manage, allowing families to enjoy the experience worry-free. Seeing children return for a second (and sometimes third!) round was the biggest reward for us.

This wasn’t our first time creating such an experience. We had previously organized a similar interactive maze at Swiss International School, where it received an equally enthusiastic response. Being part of community events like this reflects what we value most. Bringing people together through well-planned, engaging experiences. We are grateful to the organizers of The Family First Carnival for the opportunity and look forward to creating more moments of joy in the future.

Regards,

Team DIM.
