A winch-based system was used to lower the package from the air to a drop destination. The takeoff happened from a nearby post office, and the delivery was safe and smooth.

This initiative is a part of Abu Dhabi’s comprehensive strategy to allow smart mobility with the support of the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO), the aviation technology firm LODD, and 7X. Moreover, this initiative supports Abu Dhabi’s vision to localize production, develop future-ready infrastructure, and strengthen its position as a global hub for innovation and advanced industries.
